MONTBRUN

Description

Valérie and Bruno are developing free-range methods of breeding organic lamb (certified AB) for meat.

Their farm is near Montbrun village on the Causse Méjean plateau, at an altitude of 1,000 m.

A typical Causse farm, it has substantial pastures (510 hectares).

This land is grazed by almost 400 Blanche Massif Central ewes.

They lamb in February to March, and as early as April, they go out onto the heath with their lambs. From that date onwards, the first lambs are sold as milk-fed and later as grass-fed.
