This full-day boat trip on board the old Brigantin sailing boat is only available out of season taking you to the Giens peninsula and Porquerolles via Cap de l’Estérel, the Tour Fondue, Petit and Grand Ribaud islands and the north end of Porquerolles Island. The tour gives you an all-encompassing view of every aspect of the unique setting that will be presented as you sail in the best conditions. The history of islanders, nature, island life, flora and fauna, the Park's protection projects... every subject that's addressed gets everyone talking. The Brigantin will set off from Langoustier Bay to Argent Beach where it will drop anchor for homemade tapenade washed down with an apéritif. The captain will also use this time to give you some tips as you'll set sail for Porquerolles Port around midday.
You have 12-3.30pm to yourself for a picnic break or lunch in one of the island's restaurants. You'll explore the village and the unique atmosphere around Place d'Armes; you'll have time to go up to Fort Sainte-Agathe and enjoy its views, carry on to the Moulin du Bonheur and have a leisurely stroll long the wide shady paths up to Porquerolles national botanical conservatory where you can gaze at the collections of fig, olive and other orchard trees in a place devoted to safeguarding Mediterranean species.
