High mountain honey - Idoia Apiculture

Idoia Apiculture is the story of a couple passionate about nature and ecology, Prisca and Bixente, who chose to make a professional reconversion to devote themselves to the world of bees

Prisca and Bixente, invite you to discover the refined flavors of their honeys that they make with meticulous respect for the bees. Their colonies of bees winter and make their first honey around their home, in the interior Basque country, before transhuming for the summer in the mountains on the territory of the Pyrenees National Park.

Prisca and Bixente adapt their work schedule according to the natural development of the colonies. Their hive sites are located in preserved environments where their bees can take advantage of the natural spontaneous flora. They raise their own swarms and queens in order to renew and develop their stock.

Their processed products are all made from their own beekeeping products, to which are added additional non-beekeeping ingredients certified as Organic Agriculture and/or Nature & Progrès.
