"Passion, patience and pugnacity are the qualities to be able to grow vanilla in agroforestry"

For sixteen years now, Cédric Coutellier of Vanigwa has been engaged in this adventure with the objective of producing a quality vanilla with a very low impact on nature.

The opportunity presents itself to me in the departmental forest of Sainte-Rose where the ONF grants me an authorization to grow vanilla in agroforestry.

This is the beginning of a long adventure where it will take four years before the first vanilla flowers appear and nine months before the first pods are mature.

The desire and the passion being there, he does not give up.

Moreover, it is thanks to his pugnacity and love for his job that I won the Gold Medal of the Concours Général Agricole for my vanilla in 2020.

Through Vanigwa, Cédric Coutellier offers you planifolia and pompona vanilla pods, vanilla extract and visits to vanilla cultivation in agroforestry.
