Vens Lakes Refuge

In the commune of Saint-Etienne de Tinée, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, the Lacs de Vens refuge offers an environment of natural lakes, waterfalls in an ancient glacial cirque, a rich alpine meadow and a numerous and varied fauna (mouflons, chamois, eagles...).

The refuge of the Lakes of Vens is located in one of the most prestigious sites of the Park of Mercantour. It offers a rich environment for a harmonious refuge.

The word of the janitor: "Come and discover or rediscover the magnificent lakes of Vens and why not make a small stop at the refuge to taste a blueberry pie, a meal, or even spend a night. With family or friends, this refuge is open to all, for a first experience in a refuge, a day trip, in the refreshing atmosphere of mountain lakes."

Committed to eco-responsible tourism and concerned about reducing the impact on the environment, the janitor has the "Esprit Parc" label. During your stay, you will be able to meet Caprice, Oscar, Djando and Merlin, her donkeys that allow the refuge to be supplied.
