In the country of the Bearded Vulture
Refuge de Rosuel
73210 Peisey-Nancroix
France
The magnificent Ponthurin valley, gateway to the Vanoise National Park, is home to a pair of bearded vultures that have allowed more than 10 bearded vultures to take flight since 2005. During our outing, you will learn all about this emblematic bird of prey. Every Wednesday during school vacations.
Between Rosuel and the lake of La Plagne, Georges Reychler (naturalist and passionate photographer) offers you a hike to discover an area rich in fauna and flora, and where pastoral activity is very present. During this hike, which is particularly favorable to the observation of the lammergeier, you will learn more about the measures linked to the development and the protection of the species. Maybe you will even have the chance to see one and to photograph it with Georges' wildlife photography equipment! The pictures of this discovery day will be shared with you to complete your souvenir album.
