Discovering raptors and engraved stones
1 day
Medium
600 m

In a magnificent setting, what a pleasure to meet the elegant birds of prey of all sizes criss-crossing the sky and to walk in search of engraved stones as beautiful as they are mysterious!

Along an itinerary dominating the right bank of the Arc and in a constantly renewed setting, the discovery of the multiple engraved stones of the sector will plunge us into more than 3 millennia of human occupation of these mountain pastures.

Our route will also be enhanced by numerous contacts with birds of prey of all sizes that love this "sunny side". So many opportunities for us to identify the different species and to learn about their biology.

Our hike will lead us to the picturesque ruins of Le Châtelard, in the heart of the Park, from where we will enjoy a magnificent panorama and a breathtaking view of the Bessans plateau.
