Miel de callune, de châtaignier, du Mont Lozère et de montagne

ST-ANDRé-DE-CAPCèZE

Description

Bee-keeping has been in Catherine and Pierre’s family for three generations. They make honey in the foothills of Mont Lozère.

The beehives of La Miellerie de Vielvic are distributed over a 40-km radius from the honey house at Saint-André-Capcèze. This is a favourable set-up that allows access to varied vegetation at different altitudes from March to October – a real bonus for honey-making today.

Every summer in July and August, these passionate bee-keepers receive visitors on Friday mornings to help them explore their profession and the world of bees.

Labelled products:
• Heather, chestnut/Mont Lozère, and mountain honeys.
