Claire Arnaud, who has lived on the island of Guadeloupe for many years, creates lighting fixtures using the fruit of the Calebassier (Crescentia cujete) and local wood. She draws her inspiration from the uniqueness of the natural world around her and her passion for living things.
Anba Bwa La means in Creole: " À the edge of the wood ".
With an eco-responsible and ethical approach, Claire uses 4 shaping techniques in the creation of her lamps, which are part of the qualities of her brand: drilling, scrollwork, engraving and transparency.
With a diploma in carpentry from a leading French school, she selects her raw materials with care, giving preference to local sawing and joinery offcuts for her bases, in an effort to recycle her waste.
