The Plantation Vanilla-Bourbon is located in the heart of the Reunion forest, at an altitude of 300 m in the east of the island at Sainte-Rose. Here, Maryse Mounier and her teams use agroforestry methods to produce a vanilla appreciated by top chefs and gourmets alike.
The forest, covering 4 hectares, is a protected site on an ancient lava flow dating back to 1708.
It is home to many of the island's endemic and indigenous species. Vanilla is grown with the utmost respect for the environment and the natural surroundings.
Plantation Vanilla-Bourbon produces black vanilla and offers a number of by-products such as sugar, salt and vanilla allspice.
