24 chemin de la Croizure
Grand Coude

In the heart of the wild south, in Grand Coude, in the heights of the town of Saint Joseph, Jacques Lepinay and his wife will welcome you in an intense and preserved natural setting: a unique place away from everything! You will discover the flavor and the delights of an exceptional coffee... the aroma, the history and the personality of the rare Bourbon Pointu coffee from Reunion Island.
The cream of Bourbon Pointu is made from the exceptional coffee of the House of Laurina. You can find flavors of tamarinds, vavangues and prunes. The Bourbon Pointu cream can be used in cooking to bring a note of sweet and sour to your dishes or on toast with foie gras or simply on buttered half-salted bread.
For almost 20 years, the Maison du Laurina has been participating in the revival of Coffea Arabica Laurina, an exceptional coffee discovered in 1771!
Planted on the Grand Coude plateau in the wild south of the island, the coffee plantations of the Maison du Laurina are on the edge of the national park and as close as possible to the volcano. The coffee is naturally low in caffeine with very little bitterness, a balanced acidity, aromas of roasted cereals or tropical fruits and frank flavors of citrus, passion fruit, gingerbread, cocoa or letchi, depending on the harvest period. Today, it has become one of the best coffees in the world.
A true family business, the Maison du Laurina is the only independent producer of certified organic coffee in the wild south of Reunion Island.
You can find the products of the Maison du Laurina directly at the producer (call them before) or at
