The Herberie de la Tille produces aromatic and medicinal plants that can be used in infusion, decoction or in cooking and welcomes visitors who also have the possibility to sleep on the spot in one of the unusual accommodations present on the premises: the Tipi or the Roulotte.

Our products:

Sage: its Latin name, Salvia officinal, means "She who saves", and deservedly so! It can be used as an infusion or decoction, but also in cooking: it goes very well with many dishes in sauce. Sold in 20g sachets.
Thyme: flowers and leaves can be used in dishes and salads, or as an infusion. A delight for young and old alike. Well-known for its medicinal properties, it is sold in 20g sachets.
Mints: white, peppermint, bergamot or the better-known spearmint, you'll be surprised by how different they taste. Refreshing for the digestive system, they can be enjoyed at any time of day, in hot or cold weather.
Lemon balm: known to help children who are a little nervous before bedtime. Its lemony taste makes it easy and pleasant to drink, even for the youngest. Leaves and flowers are dried and packaged in 20g packets
The well-known and delicious German chamomile (although we're more used to Roman chamomile, which is less pleasant to drink than its cousin). No need to boast about its well-known merits. The flowers are dried and sold in 20g sachets.
The "Blends":
- "Mélange de Jadis" : savory, cuckoo, oregano,
- "Retour aux sources": plantain, hazelnut, potentilla, meadowsweet,
- "Douceur de Printemps": marshmallow, elderberry, white mint,
- "Barbecue Special": thyme, sage, oregano and savory,
- and the much-loved "Au coin du feu": ash, oregano, sage and bergamot mint.

Located in the heart of the National Forest Park, at Vals-des-Tilleselsa Gautherot's Herberie de la Tille is a haven of nature and expertise. Elsa grows and harvests aromatic and medicinal plants by hand, while offering unusual accommodation in an authentic setting.

It's very important for me to pass on the knowledge I've acquired about plants, their history and their properties.
At the Herberie de la Tille, I harvest aromatic and medicinal plants that I dry in my drying room and then put into sachets for infusions or cooking... Everything is wild-picked very locally or lovingly tended by hand in a 3,000^m2 garden^.
I also offer two unusual accommodations, a tipi and a gypsy caravan, which I rent out during the summer months, from April to October.
I joined the Esprit parc nationallabel because, for me, it was an obvious choice being located in the Parc national de forêts, it gives me recognition for the quality of the plants.
It also emphasizes the locality of the product, showing consumers that it's very, very local, that it's made in the National Park and not elsewhere. It's an additional visibility for my accommodations, and also a means of communication.
It's a passion, it's a job you earn a living from, but you don't have to want to be rich doing it.
