Jams, jellies and marmalades of the Gardens of Porquerolles

Our artisanal jams are 100% natural. Elaborated from fruits cultivated in organic farming and harvested by hand. Prepared with organic cane sugar, without additives or preservatives or artificial flavors or flavor enhancers.

Since 2014, the National Park of Port-Cros wished to entrust the maintenance of the orchards of collections of the island of Porquerolles to the Association de Sauvegarde des Forêts Varoises, within the framework of a workcamp of integration. From this partnership between the National Park, the Botanical Conservatory of Porquerolles and the association was born the COPAINS project (COllections PAtrimoine INSertion), an exemplary agricultural project, meaningful and generating links, based on sustainable development.

These orchards of collection welcome 269 varieties of fig trees and 50 varieties of mulberry trees. This diversity offers fruits with multiple shapes, colors and flavors. In addition, seasonal vegetables are offered all year round and are selected from old, local varieties that contribute to the preservation of cultivated biodiversity. A market gardening activity has been taken over since 2017 on about twenty hectares, in compliance with the specifications of organic farming. Thus were born "Les Jardins de Porquerolles"

We offer jams, marmalades and jellies cooked the old-fashioned way, in a copper cauldron and in small quantities, the taste of the fruit is thus preserved thanks to a gentle cooking.

- Mixed fig jam, white fig jam, melon jam, mint melon jam, strawberry jam

- Bitter orange marmalade

- Blackberry jelly extra
