Renovated between 2016 and 2018, the refuge welcomes mountaineers, hikers and nature lovers in simple but warm conditions (showers, wood stove, comforters, indoor WC). The refuge is open from June 6th to September 12th and weekends in September on reservation.
Renovated between 2016 and 2018, the refuge welcomes mountaineers, hikers and nature lovers in simple but warm conditions (showers, wood stove, comforters, indoor WC). The refuge is located in the heart of the Ecrins massif. Departure for the ascent of the Pic Coolidge, a magnificent initiation to mountaineering, the refuge Temple Ecrins is also a place of contemplation and observation of wildlife.
Easy access (2h30, 700 m of ascent), it offers a superb panorama on the prestigious summits of the Bans, the Ecrins and the Ailefroides.
