Cave of Trabuc
Grotte de Trabuc
30140 Mialet
France
Let yourself be seduced by the enchantment of underground waters and come and share with us the mysteries of the 100,000 soldiers! Unusual and lively, the Trabuc cave, discovered in 1945, is a monument of underground architecture dug by the waters during millenniums.
Located in the Camisards valley, next to Anduze, the journey through time, between dream and reality, in the heart of this geological memory of the Cevennes, allows the discovery of a world of crystal, inhabited by the sound of springs.
The interactive lighted tour brings the magic of the place closer: the visitor rubs shoulders with the treasures of a mineral nature: draperies, organs, twisted columns, medusas and calcite butterflies, then descends to meet the mysterious 100,000 soldiers, a unique phenomenon in the world, stone guardians of this authentic and preserved complex.
The temperature of the cave is 14°.
