Nordic'Yoga

Come and combine the benefits of walking and yoga, in the heart of the Nordic resort of Peisey-Nancroix, a magnificent cirque nestled at the foot of the majestic Vanoise glacier peaks, in an easily accessible, gently undulating environment.

Marie-Paule is a mountain guide and hatha yoga teacher. She offers you this original activity, developed as part of her various walking and yoga practices.

Depending on the season (winter, spring, summer, autumn) and snow conditions, we'll either put on snowshoes or just take walking sticks. Over a total duration of around 2h30, we'll start by connecting to our breath and body sensations, and letting ourselves be immersed in the unspoilt environment of the Vanoise National Park.

As we walk, we adapt our breath to our steps, but also gradually discover, through various physical and sensory exercises, what our body has to say to our mind, and vice versa. The walk is punctuated by breaks during which we practice yoga postures, meditative sitting and awaken all our senses... and sometimes, we'll have the chance to observe the emblematic fauna of the Vanoise (ibex, lammergeyer...)

The session ends with a cup of tea offered by your guide.
