This 2h30 walk offers children from 5 years old, accompanied by their family, to discover the animals of the shore, the fauna but also the particular flora of the seaside.
Little explorers are given a map with five caches to find. They are also given a compass, a landing net and a bucket. Each hiding place reveals its own natural treasures, which we can observe together!
Overlooking magnificent scenery, the 3 km loop takes the little troupe from the Port de La Madrague to the Pointe de l'Ermitage and the Calanque du four à chaux before returning home.
In the rocks, we'll learn a multitude of anecdotes about marine species, including the cute sea sheep and the funny life of the sea cucumber; we'll also talk about anemones and starfish, sea urchins and the astonishing Bernard L'hermitte, and we'll learn about the essential role of the Posidonia beds, these marine plants that are the lungs of the Mediterranean and constitute an exceptional treasure to be preserved. A fun and instructive walk for young and old alike!

After a first professional life as an educator with young people in difficulty, which he lived as a passion, Fernando Sandoval, from Toulon, has chosen to take the path of the great outdoors, to make it his new profession.
In fact, I started as a teenager with caving, climbing and then the mountains.
A seasoned mountaineer and member of the French Alpine Club, he has climbed extensively in the Mont Blanc massif, the Oisans, and Nepal; he has hiked all over the Alps, the Mercantour, and as far as Peru... With vivid memories such as "the meeting of young people I was supervising with high mountain guides and gendarmes".
I now work with the Tourist Offices of Hyères and Toulon with whom we develop the discovery of the interior.
In 2002, he passed the Brevet d'Etat d'accompagnateur moyenne montagne and set up his own business. He guides in the Alps, the Valley of Wonders, then in the Esterel, the Maures, the Calanques..
This mountain lover also likes the history of the islands and the peninsula "very rich, but sometimes dark...". He never tires of the beauty of the landscapes of the National Park, because for him "beyond the tourist traffic, the Mediterranean remains a wild space".
A project?
Yes, to create a walk around the 3 capes: Lardier, Taillat, Camarat.
Passionate about photography, he exhibits from June to August, landscapes of Porquerolles at the Tourist Office of Hyères.
