Mountain honey - Miellerie de Tende

Just a flight from the heart of the Mercantour National Park, Franck's apiary is located in the Pia valley on an adret, in a wild area. The apiary is sedentary (no transhumance), the bees collect nectar from mountain flowers from June to September.

"To produce mountain honey, we have chosen sites at an altitude of 1000 and 2000 m where the raw and wild nature is as pure as possible. Depending on the massif where the hive is placed, our bees will not gather the same flowers and therefore the honey will have different subtleties."

The honey house in Tende, completed in 2015, is AB certified. It meets all sanitary requirements. This allows for the cold extraction and packaging of honey, but also for all preparations of its products.

The mountain honey is a strongly aromatic honey of amber color, from varied flora. Pure flavors, excellent for the form.
