Alain LANTERI-MINET is a specialist in the area of the engravings and a former monitor of the Mercantour National Park. He will present an anthology of the various interpretations of the Vallée des Merveilles, an exceptional site classified as a historical monument. You will also have the opportunity to exchange with shepherds during your hike

In the heart of the Mercantour National Park, the Vallée des Merveilles offers its flagstones, engraved over 5000 years ago, to hikers interested in cultural heritage.

Off the beaten track, in this vast open-air sanctuary, this outing proposes the discovery of the most beautiful engravings, bequeathed by generations of humans. Protected mountain flora and fauna will also be on show.

Alain LANTERI-MINET, a specialist in the engraving area and a former park ranger, will present an anthology of the various interpretations of this exceptional site, which has been classified as a historical monument.

Hike departs from Lac des Mesches.
