Day 1:
After starting the day on the classic Vens lakes trail, we'll branch off to secret lakes via a wilderness itinerary. After skirting a number of lakes, we arrive at the refuge via the ridges, offering superb panoramic views.

Day 2:
From the Vens hut, we take a little-traveled alpine route to the Varicles lakes. We then join the Chemin de l'Energie, an impressive balcony carved into the cliffs, to reach the Rabuons hut.

Day 3 :
To finish on a high note, we'll attempt the ascent of Mont Ténibre, the highest point in the Tinée valley, at 3031 m altitude. The ascent is a round trip from the refuge. After a well-deserved break at the refuge, we'll start our descent to Saint-Etienne de Tinée through the larches.
The tour ends on our return to Saint-Etienne de Tinée in the late afternoon.

This trip is designed for experienced hikers, capable of walking 7 to 8 hours a day on alpine terrain with a difference in altitude of over 1000 m, and carrying a rucksack for 3 days. The itineraries include some technical sections.
