Day 1 :
After starting the day on the classic trail to the Vens lakes, we will branch off in the direction of secret lakes by a wild route. After having passed along many lakes, we will arrive at the refuge by the crests offering a superb panorama.

Day 2 :
From the Vens hut, we will take an alpine route, very little used, to reach the Varicles lakes. We will then join the energy path, an impressive balcony carved in the cliffs, to reach the Rabuons hut.

Day 3 :
To finish in beauty, we will try the ascent of the Mont Ténibre, highest point of the Tinée valley, at 3031 m of altitude. The ascent will be done in round trip from the refuge. After a deserved break at the refuge, we will then start our descent to Saint-Etienne de Tinée through the larches.
End of the stay at the return to Saint-Etienne de Tinée at the end of the afternoon.

This trip is for experienced hikers, able to walk 7 to 8 hours a day on a difference in altitude of more than 1000 m, in alpine terrain and carrying a pack for 3 days. The itineraries used have some technical passages.
