From the Gavarnie cirque, with its 3,000 m high peaks, to the Aragon canyons carved as if by a gigantic erosive chisel in the middle of a soft grassy plateau, discover this limestone ensemble, classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, and its numerous natural wonders...

Canyons and great cirques, natural amphitheaters. From the Gavarnie cirque, with its 3,000 m high peaks, to the Aragon canyons carved as if by a gigantic erosive chisel in the middle of a soft grassy plateau, discover this limestone ensemble, classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, with its numerous natural wonders.

Day 1 : small transfer. Beautiful walk in the heart of the national park, under the protective flight of the vultures, in the middle of the sheep. Discovery of the cirque of Troumouse with its kyri of peaks exceeding 3000 m. Night in a mountain inn in the cirque of Troumouse.

6 hours of hiking between Gavarnie and Ordesa, + 700 m ; - 700 m of ascent.

Day 2 : from one circus to another, or "jumping circus" with the crossing of the Estaubé circus, more secret, less frequented, to "tip" under the twin peaks of Astazou to the village of Gavarnie.

6 hours 30 of hiking between Gavarnie and Ordesa, + 1000 m ; - 1200 m of difference in altitude.

Day 3 : the isards, and more rarely the bearded vulture will greet our valiant steps in the cirque of Gavarnie. Over the peaks with the crossing of the famous Breche de Roland, which has fed the wildest legends, then crossing the high plateaus of Aragon. First views of the magical Ordesa canyon. Beautiful descent along the first "fajas" to sleep in Spain at the foot of the Mont Perdu. Night at the Goriz refuge.

6 hours of walking, + 750 ; - 750 m of ascent.

Day 4 : light bag, spectacular loop day on the foothills (or more...) of the Mont Perdu (3 355 m) dominating the highlands of the Ordesa National Park. Night at the Goriz refuge.

5 hours of walking, + 800 m ; - 800 m of ascent.

Day 5 : a day along the water to discover its patient work of erosion offering us one of the most spectacular valleys of the Pyrenees : the canyon of Ordesa and the river Arazas. Night in Torla, a typical Aragonese mountain village.

7 hours of hiking between Gavarnie and Ordesa, + 200 m ; - 1200 m of ascent.

Day 6: the pastoral site of the hermitage of Bujaruelo, ascent of the valley of Lapazosa and the Bernatoire. Return to France by the pass of Boucharo, low point of passage in the middle of high summits. Descent by the plateau of Bellevue (the well named) to Gavarnie. Night in a gite in Gavarnie.

6 hours of hiking between Gavarnie and Ordesa, + 1000 m ; - 1000 m of ascent.

Day 7 : transfer after breakfast.

12 people maximum, departure confirmed from 4 people.

Accommodation : 4 nights in a gîte and 2 nights in a guarded refuge

Level : on average each day 750 m of positive difference in altitude and 6 hours of effective hiking

Carrying : personal belongings for 3 nights
