Stay "Secrets of the mountains
3 days
Medium

During these 3 days of hiking which will lead you from the Haute Tarentaise to the doors of the Vanoise National Park, you will find the mountain you came for, with panoramas with accents of eternity and villages struck with authenticity.

The mountain in small steps: gentle hiking

In the heart of mountain communities, sensory immersion and encounters in mountain pastures, hamlets and villages with surprising baroque nuggets

This is an exceptional and unique stay, conceived from a partnership between the FACIM Foundation (Foundation for International Cultural Action in the Mountains) and the Vanoise ecotourism agency.

Three days of hiking that will lead you from Rosuel, gateway to the Vanoise National Park, to the authentic hamlets of Ste Foy-Tarentaise.

Offering panoramas with accents of eternity and villages struck with authenticity.

But not only! Because behind these postcard sceneries, the Vanoise is a whole history, written by generations of mountain dwellers who are waiting for you at the turn to tell you more about themselves.

With a baroque chapter written right on the territory, that you will decipher along the way and that will take you back 4 centuries.

A journey far from the beaten track, marked out by high emotions and new experiences, in the company of a mountain guide, heritage guides, and inhabitants who will go out of their way to show you the mountain as you have never seen it.

  • Day 1 : Peisey-Nancroix, gateway to the Vanoise National Park, a mountain that reveals itself
  • Day 2 : From villages to villages, traditions that are cultivated.
  • Day 3 : Ste-Foy Tarentaise : From the mountain pastures to the villages, by the crossroads, an itinerary full of meaning

ENCADREMENT the hike is supervised by a qualified mountain guide.
