Authentic and warm, an ideal refuge for a first night in the mountains!
At the foot of the Dôme de la Sache, nestled in a lush mountain pasture, the refuge and its janitor will welcome you with open arms all summer long. The site offers a peaceful environment for a first experience in a refuge, and provides an opportunity to discover the riches of the Vanoise National Park (fauna, flora, landscapes...) with incredible panoramic views over the Lac du Chevril and the Mont Blanc massif.
The refuge is accessible on foot:
- 1h45 from the La Gurraz parking lot
- 2h from various Tignes departures
