Located in the Orgère valley, this refuge welcomes nature lovers who can admire ibexes and marmots, as well as the vast nearby forest of larches, spruces and pines over 700 years old.
The refuge is open and guarded every year from June 1 to September 30. During this period, the entire building is accessible and the refuge team welcomes you every day. The refuge can accommodate up to 70 people.
During the rest of the year, when the refuge is no longer manned, you can still access the winter refuge section, where the minimum level of comfort is provided. It has a capacity of 14. Services are limited (no drinking water, basic WC, no toilet blocks, etc.).
Prices
Rates for 2024 at the refuge de l'Orgère:
- Single night adult rate: 21 euros
- Single night for children under 8: 12 euros
- 1/2 board adult rate: 54 euros
- 1/2 board for children under 8: 24 euros

- Evening meal: 23 euros
- Breakfast: 10 euros
- Picnic: 10 euros
- Bivouac: 6 euros
