Refuge of Prariond

Nestled at an altitude of 2,324 meters in the Prariond valley in the Val d'Isère commune, at the foot of the glacier des sources de l'Isère, is the new Prariond refuge.

This verdant valley, located in the "coeur de parc" zone of the Vanoise National Park, overlooked by towering cliffs (lause and limestone) is home to a wealth of flora and fauna.

On the border with the Gran Paradiso National Park, you can observe marmots, chamois and ibex, as well as large birds of prey such as the bearded vulture and golden eagle. On the ground floor, you'll find a common room with a reading corner, board games, a non-sac area (equipped with gas, cooking utensils and crockery), and sanitary facilities.

Upstairs are dormitories for up to 36 people. Beds are fitted with cosy comforters, pillows and warm blankets from the Arpin spinning mill in Séez. Bring your own sheet and bag!

You'll also have access to sanitary facilities (toilet, shower and washbasin).

Outside, you can enjoy the south-facing terrace with a magnificent view of the valley. There's also a dry toilet. This is the door furthest to the right, as you face the refuge.
