All the Cévennes in one museum

Why is the chestnut tree called the breadfruit tree, the mulberry tree the golden tree?

An incredible collection of 10,000 exhibits provides an insight into the life, skills and history of the Cévennes. The focus is on people and the objects they have made. Like a heritage, the memory of the spinning mill, the oldest to have innovated and the last in operation in France, is sublimated by a deliberately contemporary renovation and extension. This is the company museum dedicated to the Cévennes of yesterday and today, a World Heritage site.
