Once a sport equipment, rafting is now a way to travel. A privileged way to observe nature and the river, silent and ecological.
Along the water, our explorers for a day discover pictograms (previously drawn with chalk) that lead them on the tracks of a mysterious and unknown endemic insectivore: the Pyrenean Desman.
Through a course in six stages, from the boarding to the disembarkation, they will go in search of clues of presence of the Desman, but also of other aquatic or semi-aquatic animals.
In addition to providing information on the Pyrenean Desman, its habitat and its way of life, the educational kit and the course as a whole allow participants to become aware of the water cycle, the preservation of natural environments and the extraordinary wealth of a river.
