A one-day hike to learn, understand and get to know the wolf. With a naturalist's eye on this animal, we'll set off in search of traces and clues and discover its environment. In areas where the wolf is present, we'll also take a look at all the wildlife in the Ecrins National Park.

I've been doing this job in the Vallouise valley for about 20 years. The evolution towards the brand Esprit parc national is quite natural for me, it is a perfect collaboration between the National Park and the guides or mountain leaders. An important objective: naturalist hikes. We are there to discover the natural environment, as well as the fauna, the flora and the geology...

To be a guide is to share but it is also to facilitate the access to an environment that we do not know well and that can seem a little mysterious... It is thus necessary to transmit a maximum of knowledge and to give autonomy so that people can wander, walk by themselves on the paths... and with the good notions.
