Marmots, ibex and birdlife
Maison du Parc national de la Vanoise de Rosuel

France
Marie-Odile, a mountain guide specialized in fauna and flora, offers you day hikes to discover with your family the way of life of the emblematic and protected species of the Vanoise National Park, through an environmentally friendly approach.
Departure from Rosuel on Fridays in July and August.
The famous Alpine ibexes, bearded vultures, marmots, chamois, mountain hares, foxes and ermines may be just around the corner!
A rich avifauna (numerous species of birds) can also be observed or heard, depending on the vegetation level: from the golden eagle - the main predator of marmots - to the wood grouse often perched on high rocks.
Marie-Odile will share her knowledge of the specific adaptations of wild fauna, their different habitats and diets over the months; the links with man and pastoralism; not forgetting the description of some plant species associated with numerous insects.
