Marie-Odile, a mountain guide specialized in fauna and flora, offers you day hikes to discover with your family the way of life of the emblematic and protected species of the Vanoise National Park, through an environmentally friendly approach. Departure from Rosuel every Friday in July and August.
The famous Alpine ibex, bearded vultures, marmots, chamois, hares or foxes may be present!
A rich avifauna (numerous bird species) can also be observed or heard according to the vegetation levels: from the golden eagle - the main predator of marmots - to the wood grouse often perched on high rocks.
Marie-Odile will share with you her knowledge of the specific adaptations of the wild fauna, its different habitats and diets over the months; the links with man and pastoralism; without forgetting the description of some plant species associated with numerous insects.
