Porquerolles by bike with Charlotte
Quai Lélia Le Ber
83400 Porquerolles
France
Discovering Porquerolles by bike on the wide and shaded paths bordering the beaches with translucent waters remains an unforgettable experience of freedom and happiness of life. So saddle up!
Let us guide you to the lighthouse along the variety of olive trees, to make an incursion into the calanque de l'Indienne and enjoy the view on the horizon of the islands of Port - Cros and Bagaud, and to stop a little further at the lighthouse overlooking the wild coastline which shelters colonies of sea birds.
A few more pedal strokes and we will arrive in the Loup gorges where a few meters of breakaway in the scrub allows us to glimpse the Toulon harbor and the St Mandrier peninsula. Then we set off again to walk along the lagoons and learn about the problems of water on the island and the circuit dedicated to it.
The Argent beach will be a saving step to soak our feet (or more) before putting on our bike and continue our route to the point of Alycastre with its fort which was the shelter of the navigators. A shady route that allows us to glimpse the blue sea.
At the end of the route, we return to the village with our eyes full of images.
