Life and history of Porquerolles through the orchards
Quai Lélia Le Ber
83400 Porquerolles
France
Learning from others and creating conviviality, this is what Charlotte proposes to you during a visit that leads you on the paths of the island through preserved landscapes.
Together, we will discover the fort of Ste Agathe dominating the village with a breathtaking panorama as well as its exhibitions, then the mill, testimony of the rich agricultural past of the island.
Our walk will continue along the path that follows the magnificent collections of olive trees, fig trees and mulberry trees, managed by the botanical conservatory, in order to better understand their interest for the preservation of our biodiversity, and their conservation for the agriculture of tomorrow.
Then we will stop at the heart of the orchard of the muriers for a tasting of the products resulting from the cultures which respect the schedule of conditions of the organic farming.
A way to thank the association that manages the crops and the pleasure of tasting - blind, it's more fun - the flavors of orchards.
Return to the village at the end of the visit.
