Notre Dame des Vernettes is a masterpiece of 18th century baroque art. Built on a plateau facing south, sheltered from avalanches, it offers a wonderful panorama on the mineral side of the Aiguille Rousse and on the north face of the Bellecôte summit. A good opportunity to forget all the worries of the daily life. Possible all year round, itinerary adapted according to the weather conditions.
The path winds quietly through the mountain pastures, passing through tiny hamlets. We will take a surprising path (regularly cut by mudslides during heavy rains) in the Carro Blanc forest to reach beautiful alpine pastures at the foot of the aiguille Rousse. The setting and the view of the picnic break will not leave you indifferent!
You will also have the opportunity to observe the animals in their natural environment without disturbing them: binoculars and spotting scopes will never be far away to make you enjoy these magical moments!

What to bring : hiking shoes, clothes adapted to the weather, small backpack, picnic (possibility to reserve it with the guide), water (1,5L / person), hat, sun cream, sunglasses, cell phone and camera. Sticks are recommended.
Possible all year round, itinerary adapted according to the weather conditions of the moment. Snowshoe outing in winter.
