This area really is a secret garden. The mountains we share in total intimacy, an area full of authenticity, calm, a mountain of origins. I love it: no cable cars, no noisy valley roads, this is the Himalayas (almost). Magnificent, a high alpine route not to be missed under any circumstances.

Haute Route La Grave Briançon is the link between the capitals of the Alps. La Grave, the capital of freeride and mountaineering, facing the Meije. Briançon, capital of cycling, surrounded by the great passes (Lautaret, Galibier, Granon, Montgenevre, Izoard, Vars, Agnel) and the Vauban citadel, Europe's highest city and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

A high route in trekking mode that mixes mountaineering with technical hiking: the rope will be used almost every day! The low point of the trip is Briançon at 1300 meters, the high point at 3550 meters: you really are in the high mountains!

You're off to the glacial mountains, with four stages in the world of high altitude, on the glaciers of the Ecrins. You continue with two long, technical mid-mountain stages, taking in confidential passages in the heart of the Cerces, with rope access on the ridges. You finish above the citadel of Briançon and its Vauban fortifications. Great art and history.

ATTENTION: This year, due to the closure of the Chatelleret refuge, the tour will take in the Promontoire refuge and the technical Col des Chamois.
