The Gîtes du Pouget in Lozère

Two gîtes are available for rent. Situated in a hamlet that has preserved its authenticity in the heart of the Park, they may seem a little lost in the mountains, but they are definitely steeped in Cevennes history and ideally located 3 km from shops and a train station.

• Jules' house

The gîte sleeps 14 or 16 people, depending on the season. The house has 7 bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, 2 living rooms, a stove and a large fireplace, and a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the mountains. A refreshing pool is shared with the inhabitants of this small hamlet.

• La Clède

This former drying shed, restored in 2020, sleeps 2. You'll find comfort both beautiful and simple. The small living room with kitchenette on the ground floor is equipped with a bioethanol stove. The double bedroom and bathroom are upstairs.

Ideally located, the gîtes are a starting point for lovers of outdoor activities: walking, hiking, swimming, via ferrata or climbing, cycling, mountain biking and even Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in winter.

A small farm offers fresh and processed produce, and chickens and sheep add a little excitement to this exceptional environment.
