In the north of the windward coast on Basse Terre in Guadeloupe, in a still preserved nature, the village of Deshaies has kept all its authenticity. A small fishermen's village surrounded by high wooded hills, Deshaies is full of charm, with many wooden houses in Caribbean style. Its privileged position at the doors of the National Park makes Deshaies a strong place of ecotourism in Guadeloupe.

Nestled on a hillside, between the sea and the mountains on the heights of Deshaies, with a breathtaking view of the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin and only a few minutes from the beach of Grande Anse, the Piton Bungalows will surprise you with their originality.

Built entirely of red Guiana wood, semi-open, they offer quality accommodation, human dimension, respectful of the environment and have been designed to fit perfectly into the Caribbean nature. Ideally located at an altitude of 300 m, the site is naturally ventilated by the trade winds. The change of scenery is guaranteed, if it is not paradise, it looks like it! An address where it is good to recharge your batteries....

The 7 bungalows, real "Creole huts", can accommodate from 2 to 8 people and are full of charm, tastefully decorated with emphasis on local craftsmanship. They are all independent with a large terrace and open on the tropical nature. They are all equipped with small kitchens on the terrace.

The Piton Bungalows offer a different, greener approach to tourism, sensitive to the environment (no air-conditioning, no televisions, selective waste sorting ...). The natural ventilation of the site means that there is no need for air conditioning, which results in minimal energy consumption. S

n the domain, you can also take advantage of the swimming pool, the carbet and the reading corner are waiting for you to relax.

After many trips on the different continents of the world, Valerie and Matthieu Niclas decide to put down their suitcases in Guadeloupe, an archipelago that they discover during one of their stays.

They quickly fell in love with the town of Deshaies and with the Piton Bungalows located between the Desbonnes and Caféière sections, the place that will later become Piton Bungalows - Gîtes and Ecolodges in wood Guadeloupe Deshaies.

Beside this crush, we wanted to live a new life and to use our professional experiences and our personal attractions.

At Piton Bungalows, each of us has his own speciality, Valerie is in charge of the administrative part, while Matthieu explores his creativity through the construction and the layout of the lodges.

From the Piton Bungalows, you will be able to admire the islets of the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, a part of the Grande Terre and to recharge your batteries in a place full of serenity, in a colorful setting. Atypical artistic works are also exhibited at Piton Bungalows.
