The Bamboo plantation in Cevennes

The 12-hectare estate is home to over 1,000 plant species, including 180 species of bamboo. The Bambouseraie botanical garden is unique in Europe!

This park is a huge garden in the middle of the Cévennes mountains, featuring a wide variety of bamboo and other plant species. With its 15,000 m² of plant species, the Bambouseraie is the ideal change of scenery for a family vacation in the Gard, a cool, green spot where you can relax while discovering the riches of nature.

• Park visit duration: 1h30 minimum
• Free parking (coaches, cars, motorcycles, disabled visitors).
• Toilets at park entrance.
• Wheelchair hire (subject to conditions).
• Garden center, restaurant and boutique.
• Dogs allowed on leash.
• Bicycles, scooters and bicycles are not permitted for safety reasons.
• Free audio-guide terminals (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch)
• Uncovered picnic area in reception area only. No picnics inside the park.
