Following the flight of raptors
Bureau de montagne de la vallée d'Ossau
Plateau du Bénou

On the plateau of Benou, a walk animated by small games and workshops to discover the world of birds of prey.
By family or by teams, but without any spirit of competition, equipped with a road book, a map and a compass, the future ornithologists will go from beacons to beacons on a course during which they will have to answer several questions to know everything (or almost everything) about the flight, the diet, the migration of the birds of prey (Bearded Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Griffon Vulture, Short-toed Vulture...) that the Ossau valley shelters. These questions and other small games will be as many pretexts to discover this fabulous world of raptors. This route will lead us to a magnificent perch from where we will be able to contemplate the valley and with a little luck vultures in flight..
Meeting point at 9:30 am in front of the Chapel of Houndas (above Bilhères-en-Ossau).
Walk adapted to the age of the children, going from beacon to beacon, where you will have to answer questions or enigmas to continue. P
About 50 to 150 m of difference in altitude, 1h30 of walking for 2h30 of activity (itinerary adapted to the age of the children). End of the activity at mid-day.
