Come and meet Laurent, a shepherd in the Ossau valley.

After an easy route between France and Spain, we arrive at the hut where Laurent, the shepherd, will welcome us. He will make the cheese of the Pyrenees, pure ewe's milk, in front of us. Then comes the moment of tasting the cheese but also a less known speciality "le greuil".

For those who want to take a little bit of this day home, it will be possible to buy cheese on the spot.

This outing is only done in groups.

Meeting point : 9 am on the parking of the Ossau Valley Mountain Office (in front of the buses and the Canonge cellar) then carpooling to the starting point of the hike.

Departure : 10 am in front of the reception area of the Pyrenean National Park at the Pourtalet pass.

Equipment provided or at your disposal: binoculars, spyglass, ornithological guide, plates by emblematic animals.

Bring a picnic.
