Half-day bike ride to discover the Cap du Langoustier on the island of Porquerolles

Present on the island since 1974, the Cycle Porquerollais offers you this sportive bike ride of about 2h30, supervised by a guide.

Heading west, you will discover the Langoustier peninsula and its forts anchored on the rocks.

Located at the western end of the island, the peninsula is home to a white sand beach and an amazing black sand beach. You will be able to admire the Fort du Grand Langoustier, restored by a passionate private individual. The coastline is very indented and has been the scene of many sea fortunes, which are perhaps evoked in the names of the places: Trou du pirate, Calanque du Maure, Pointe du Brégançonnet.

This itinerary has a minimum distance to cover and some steep passages. It therefore requires prior cycling experience (mastery of gear shifting).

These (small) efforts will be quickly forgotten in front of the beauty of the landscapes preserved by the National Park of Port-Cros, and the unusual corners that your guide will reveal to you.

Back in the village at the end of one of these rides, you can take a break at the Maison du Parc, in the Emmanuel Lopez Garden. You will keep the bikes until the end of the day to continue walking and discovering other places in the pearl of the Golden Islands at your own pace.

Please bring appropriate clothing for cycling, sun cream and a water bottle.
