The Muid Montsaugeonnais is a vineyard of nearly 14ha, in conversion to organic farming, which produces white, red, rosé and sparkling wines as well as ratafia, grape juice and wine vinegar.
Our terroirs, located in Vaux-sous-Aubigny, Montsaugeon, Rivières-les-fosses and Chatoillenot, are particularly well suited to the cultivation of vines and owe their quality to both the composition of the soil and its exposure. Our 4 grape varieties - Pinot noir, Gamay, Chardonnay and Auxerrois - flourish there and offer us their flavors.
Since the creation of the Muid Montsaugeonnais, Dominique and Isabelle, our winegrowers, as well as their teams, have given the vineyard a real identity. This know-how has been recognized and rewarded several times (Salon de l'Agriculture, Guide Hachette des vins, etc.).
Since 2020, we continue our search for quality with the conversion to Organic Agriculture and the plot-based vinification, which will allow our wines to better reveal the quality of our terroirs.
The production, harvesting, vinification, bottling (carried out by a service provider) and storage (cellar and vats) are carried out on the farm.
The ratafia :
This aperitif is born from the marriage of a third of wine brandy and two thirds of grape juice. With 17.5% alcohol by volume, and 180 grs of natural sugars per liter, this sumptuous beverage will be served chilled as an aperitif. It can also accompany your melons in summer. 2 years of conservation are necessary. 2000 bottles of 70 cl are sold per year. This product obtained by mutage, will be served fresh as an aperitif, or to accompany your melons. Some will appreciate it as a digestive.
