Rosé Wine - Le Muid Montsaugeonnais

Our terroirs, located in Vaux-sous-Aubigny, Montsaugeon, Rivières-les-fosses and Chatoillenot, are particularly well-suited to vine-growing, owing their quality to both soil composition and exposure. Our 4 grape varieties - Pinot noir, Gamay, Chardonnay and Auxerrois - flourish here and offer us their flavors.

Since the creation of Muid Montsaugeonnais, Dominique and Isabelle, our winemakers, and their teams, have given the vineyard a real identity. Their expertise has been recognized and rewarded on several occasions (Salon de l'Agriculture, Guide Hachette des vins, etc.).

Since 2020, we have been pursuing our quest for quality with the conversion to organic farming and parcel-based vinification, which will enable our wines to better reveal the quality of our terroirs.

Production, harvesting, vinification, bottling (carried out by a service provider) and storage (cellar and vats) are carried out on the farm.

Rosé:

• Terroir: clay-limestone soil on hillside and mid-slope
• Exposure: southeast
• Average age of vines: 18 years
• Tasting: Best drunk young, after 6 months' ageing in stainless steel tanks, it will be bottled to be available in spring, so that it can be enjoyed on country buffets and outdoor summer evenings.
