Wood ash detergent

Produced by hand, Hyères detergent is 100% natural and made from wood ashes. It is ideal for hand or machine washing at all temperatures. It allows a respectful washing of all types of linen, textile fibers and colors.

Hyères detergent is the perfect alternative to traditional, polluting detergents for those who want to reduce their daily impact on theimpact on the environment.

In fact, every year the equivalent of a 6-hectare pond with a depth of 1m50 of wastewater is discharged by the use of washing machines. This means that 1L of Lessive d'Hyères used is equivalent to 1500L less polluted water!

The manufacturing process is entirely natural, non-polluting and based on recycled products. No detail is overlooked:

Lhe harvesting of natural wood ash from local restaurants.
Maceration takes place in recycled tanks, using only the heat of the sun.
The use of recyclable and, above all, reusable glass bottles reusable glass bottles recycled cans for larger volumes and bulk.
The reuse of ash after filtering to make soap and scouring cream.

The original version of the detergent is fragrance-free, making it ideal for those with sensitivities or allergies.

For those who prefer to add a little fragrance to their laundry, there are two scented alternatives: Lavandin or Sweet Orange, made from eco-certified organic essential oils.

1 dose (5 cl) for lightly soiled laundry.
2 doses (10 cl) for dirty laundry or hard water.

Note :

Wood ash contains high levels of potash (a natural surfactant) and sodium carbonate. These two elements have the property of dissolving grease.

If you add a little white vinegar, Lessive d'Hyères can also be used to wash floors and surfaces!

One week after graduating from the Toulon business school, Vincent Fantino, originally from Brignoles, moved to Hyères: "I wanted to work by the sea, I found my first job and I never left... It's been 25 years!

The young man has had several jobs : "I have made financial investments, worked in the large-scale distribution of sporting goods, and I created a green space maintenance company that I had to sell because of health problems; but I kept my job as a salesman and trainer within the sporting goods company

Passionate about water sports, Vincent, now father of two, regularly goes to the beach with his family, because the sea has remained his passion and it will feed his reflection..

We see the marine environment deteriorating, there is less seaweed, less fish, the quality of the water is deteriorating, fishermen tell me about the decrease of sea urchins... We must act.

This environmental fibre has led him and his friend to make their own household products for years..

In particular the washing powder made of wood ashes and water which works very well.

But the "project" trigger occurred during the first confinement..

In response to the question launched by the daily newspaper Var-matin: What do you do, you, at home in favor of the environment? He posts comments on social networks "explaining that I was making this natural detergent that limits plastic and toxic discharges into the sea ..."

Today La Lessive d'Hyères has 758 followers on social networks, Vincent has created a label, he supplies hotels committed to an eco-responsible approach, organic stores throughout the region, and his detergent sold in glass bottles, will become the first artisanal household product to receive the Esprit Parc National label in France.

It's a source of pride! confirms the young entrepreneur who says he shares the same values as the Port-Cros National Park and has high hopes: That Hyères becomes a pilot town in terms of environmental protection!
