In the heights of Saint Joseph, in Grand Coude, the Labyrinthe en Champ Thé invites you to taste these tea and geranium jellies, typical products of the region.
Perched at an altitude of 1,100 metres in the heights of St Joseph, Grand Coude is linked to the world by its umbilical cord: "le Petit Serré", 60 metres wide between two rivers, the Rivière des Remparts and the Rivière Langevin, from which you can admire magnificent sites. This village is home to the Labyrinthe En-Champ-Thé. The labyrinth is built in a forest of tea bushes, old plantations from the 1960s, recognized at the time as one of the three best teas in the world.
In 2005, Johny and his wife relaunched the history of Grand Coude tea, a unique French production. The plantation also grows geraniums, which are also the beneficiaries of the Esprit brand Esprit parc national. The one we're talking about here isn't the one we find on our balconies, but the fragrant geranium, the one we use to collect the essential oils after distillation.
Welcomed in a warm and authentic kiosk, you'll find all their products. From the geranium on his farm, Mr. Guichard has developed a range of raw or simple processed products, the result of special know-how handed down from generation to generation for decades.
The range of products benefiting from the Esprit Parc national is made up of :
- Green tea syrup and jelly
- White tea syrup and jelly
- Geranium syrup and jelly
- Syrup of 3 plants

Ask the producer
Located in Grand Coude on Reunion Island, Le Labyrinthe En-Champ-Théled by Louis Johny Guichard, is France's leading organic tea producer.
From guided tours to product discovery (white tea, green tea, essential oils...), enjoy a gourmet experience that will delight your eyes and taste buds!
When I took over the farm, it was to grow geraniums. The geranium we planted was destroyed every year by the cyclone. And of course, the tea plant had been there since 1955. What we wanted to do was to try and bring Reunion tea up to date. And today, we want to preserve this culture.
All visitors to the labyrinth at Grand Coude will be able to enjoy a complimentary tea. It will be a very good tea! And of course, it's a natural product.
Today, what's marked National Park spirit is tea: white tea and green tea. We also make flavored tea and geranium essential oils, which are also branded.
This value, Eprit parc nationalis really a village spirit. Today, our tea, which Emmanuel, myself and the children produce, is really a story that we share with the village and with everyone.
