Spring honey - Ruchers de Darbois

The apiary of Darbois is located in the forest of Châtillon-sur-Seine, the apiaries benefit from the purity of this unique and privileged environment, which brings character and authenticity to their honeys.

Coming from our apiaries located in the heart of the forest of Châtillon-sur-Seine, the flowers of undergrowth and edges bring a pleasant subtlety to the strength of the honeydew of the trees which compose it, in particular the oaks, while its liquid texture and its dark color suggest its strength.

The farm, certified Organic Agriculture, is based on a farm in Buncey, hosting the honey house. It has 267 beehives, all of which are located in communes belonging to the National Park, within a 25 km radius of Buncey. The bees produce various honeys (flower honey, forest honey, lime tree honey...), propolis, wax and swarms. Honey infused with aromatic and medicinal plants (MAP) is also produced on the farm, as well as gingerbread and honey-based chutneys.

Creamy Spring Honey:

From dandelion, fruit tree, sometimes maple and other hedge and meadow flowers, very sweet, creamy in texture, pearl in color.

We offer creamy spring honey in one kilo, 500g and 250g jars.

Raw spring honey:

From different apiaries than the creamy spring honey, equally sweet, with the same pearl color, its taste is more floral and has a more pronounced crystallization on the palate - an authentic honey. .

We offer the creamy spring honey in 500g jar.

The honey is available for sale at the honey house.

Clotilde and Benoît's operation is based on a farm that houses a certified organic honey house.

It has 267 hives, all of which are located in communes belonging to the National Forest Park, within a 25 km radius of Buncey.

We've been farming organically in the Châtillonnais region for 5 years. We have set up our hives in the protected environment of the National Forest Park, which offers our bees an exceptional setting, notably for its varied flora.

We process our honey entirely cold, and offer a range of honeys and combinations of honey and aromatic plants (such as agastache, thymcitron, hyssop...), as well as gingerbread.
