The history of Guadeloupe has been marked by a wave of Indian immigration directly following the abolition of slavery. This population settled in the territory, bringing with them oriental flavors and spices.
This led to the introduction of plants used to prepare dishes, notably ginger and turmeric rhizomes, which are now part of Guadeloupe's culinary heritage. Partly born of this Indian culture, the Karupodha family business is keen to enhance this cultural identity by developing a range of products made from the spices it grows. The originality of these products lies in the fact that they can be consumed in unusual forms. In syrup or infusion, let yourself be seduced by the flavours of these natural products, directly from the Guadeloupe National Park.
