Day 1 :
Welcome at 8:30 am at the train station of L'Argentière-les-Ecrins (05). Transfer to the small high altitude hamlet at the foot of Pelvoux (3943 m) and a few steps away from the Ecrins bar (4102 m), the highest summit of the Ecrins. Settling in at the inn for five days. Hike in a peaceful mélézin, along the torrent of Ailefroide and discover this charming village at the foot of the Pelvoux. Night at the inn.

Day 2 :
Short transfer to the village of Vallouise then to Entre-les-Aygues. We go up the Bans valley to the refuge of the same name. Located in the heart of a glacial cirque, this refuge offers a circular view on the summit of Bans (3648 m), the peak of Aupillous (3505 m) and the peak Jocelme (3458 m).

Day 3 :
Short transfer to Ailefroide, discovery of the Selé valley through the ascent of one of its foothills: the bump of the Clapouse. This plateau suspended above the valley is surrounded by majestic summits and offers a superb panorama on the Pelvoux (3943 m). Short transfer to Pelvoux, night at the inn.

Day 4 :
Short transfer (15 min) to the Chambran valley. We go up this welcoming valley to reach a glacier lock dominated by the lake of Eychauda (2514 m). This lake is fed by the Séguret-Foran glacier, just above, and thaws only a few months in the year. Return by bus to the inn.

Day 5 :
Short transfer to Madame Carle's meadow (20 min). Progressive ascent under the Agneaux mountain (3664 m) to reach the glacier Blanc refuge (2542 m), starting point of many alpine ascents. The most courageous will be able to advance to the foot of the glacier Blanc and thus see the Ecrins bar.

Day 6 :
Transfer to Madame Carle's meadow. Moraine of the Black glacier at the foot of the north face of the pic Sans Nom and the bar of Ecrins (4106 m). This valley is good for observing chamois. Transfer and separation around 4pm at the train station of L'Argentière-les-Ecrins.
