This Vanoise National Park refuge is on the GR5, not far from the glacier of the same name.
The roof terrace offers a superb, unobstructed view. Inside, the discreet but contemporary comfort of old chalets converted into 6- or 10-person dormitories completes the feel-good factor of a stopover at the refuge.
To sleep at the refuge, don't forget to make a reservation. You can take half-board, as well as a picnic lunch for the following day, which you also need to book! Don't forget to let us know if you have any food allergies.
If you're just passing through for the day, you're welcome to drop in for a bite to eat or a drink at any time of day!
Bivouacs are permitted close to the refuge. Open in spring and from mid-June to mid-September.
The refuge is run in a sustainable way (photovoltaic panels, soap/shampoo dispensers, etc.) and helps to raise public awareness of sustainable development and nature conservation.
