Discover and immerse yourself in the mountain environment with Alpine fauna. A fox on the path, an eagle on the edge of its roost and a white ermine in hiding. It's a real encounter with mountain wildlife that's on offer at the animal refuge.

In the heart of the village of St Léger les Mélèzes, in an old renovated farmhouse, two rich collections of natural history enthusiasts have been brought together to form the Ecomuseum.

The 270m2 exhibition area is a fun and interactive place where the whole family can play, learn and exchange. Biodiversity is highlighted with over 300 mammals, birds and reptiles, most of which are currently protected; insects are not left out, with a fine local collection.

The ecomuseum also offers art exhibitions throughout the year, as well as numerous workshops and discovery activities
