The bear, the isard and the Patou

Estibère, a hidden jewel of the Natural Reserve of Néouvielle.

Here live isards, marmots and the so discreet capercaillie. In summer, the Patou goes up with the sheep, not far from us, the bear hides... A hike from lake to lake starting from the lake of Aubert (2160m).

Meeting at 8:20 am at the parking lot at the entrance of Saint-Lary Soulan (in front of the Sarrat Sports store) for transfer to the start of the hike.

Duration 7 to 8 hours with 4 to 5 hours of actual walking.

Equipment provided: binoculars and educational tools.

Optional picnic based on local products to be reserved 48 hours in advance.
