Day hike on the underwater paths of the Bay of Cavalaire and the 3 Capes

Born in Libourne, Fabien Joubert started diving at the age of 16... at the same time as he joined the French Air Force where he spent more than 23 years. First as a mechanic on the Mirage 2000, then as a flight mechanic on a cargo plane, before leaving for the Special Forces for twelve years, three of which were spent in Reunion Island.

And then, at the age of 40 in 2018, this father of three decided to leave the army "to be more present for my family, and motivated by the desire to make a second career in a field I enjoyed: diving..."

On his return from Reunion Island, he passed his state diploma

In order to be able to teach, bounce back to another job with the idea of creating my own center and the desire to have a different kind of dive boat... a place where we can share a moment together, on and under the water.

Fate smiled on him because that same 2018 season, the Tiki Dive center in Cavalaire was looking for an instructor. Fabien moves with his family, spends the season on board and the following year, "the former owner reaching retirement age put the center up for sale with the boat."

Fabien took the helm of Tiki Dive in January 2020 and, obviously... doesn't regret it!

It's a job that I like, I like the professional aspect and the human contact, especially with children... To amaze them is a shared pleasure!
